1cuppowdered sugar
1.5cupscrushed Butterfinger candy barsCrush the bars into small pieces.
For the Chocolate Coating
1.5cupschocolate chipsChoose between milk or dark chocolate.
2tablespoonsvegetable oilOptional for achieving a thinner chocolate consistency.
Instructions
Preparation
In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar. Mix until well blended and you have a thick mixture.
Fold in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars into the peanut butter mixture until evenly distributed.
Using your hands, form small balls with the mixture, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up the balls.
Chocolate Coating
While the balls chill, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. If you want a thinner consistency, add the vegetable oil.
Remove the chilled balls from the refrigerator. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
Place the chocolate-coated balls back on the parchment paper. Once you've dipped all the balls, place them in the fridge again for about 15 minutes to set the chocolate.
Serving
After the chocolate has set, you can serve the Butterfinger Balls. Enjoy them as a delightful treat at your holiday gatherings or as snack ideas for a Super Bowl party!
